Profile

Kaarina's research insterests include:
Historiography of art and architectural history and theory, focusing on the discourses of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries and the histories of concepts and categories [Begriffsgeschichte]; philosophy and theory of art and architecture; art and architecture as visual and cultural discourse; history of photography [as object and medium] within the discourse of art history, architectural history and visual studies.
