Nicole Tritter

Nicole Tritter is an interdisciplinary artist of Métis and Ukrainian ancestry. Her work has been presented in theatres, alternative performance spaces and galleries in Calgary, as well as Denman Island, Fanny Bay, Victoria, Kimberly, Toronto, Ottawa, Washington, DC., and Mexico City.  
Tritter’s ideas are expressed through varying materials, processes and expressive mediums including, but not limited to, dance, performance, poetry, storytelling, painting, stained glass, sculpture, video and installation.  
She has a B.A. in Dance Studies from the University of Calgary and a B.F.A. from the Alberta College of Art and Design. She is currently researching reconciliation and what implications that has on a personal, national and global level while pursuing her M.F.A. at the University of Calgary.
