Primarily a painter, his studio practice since moving to Calgary has also grown to incorporate sculpture. His work has been exhibited in Canada, the United States and Great Britain.

"People are fascinating. No other species that I know of seems to have the same routine need to break from their normal activities to seek entertainment. I'm interested in the sorts of environments (real, and imaginary) that we create for ourselves to escape to, and how we use those environments to cope with mental stress. In the past few years, we've made some progress toward re-writing the negative stigma that still surrounds mental illness; hopefully my work provides a venue for people engage in a more public conversation about depression and mental health."
